Terms and Conditions


On purchase of a bibliotta! service, you agree to the following list of terms and conditons.

bibliotta! is an organisation run by Jellydigio.com. Payments received will be processed through their accounts, and will appear on PayPal statements as such. Please see the relevant section for your purchase type.

Webinars:

All our information received during a webinar and in resultant product (such as presentation decks and other materials), is provided in good faith and to the best of our abilities, but bibliotta! cannot guarantee your attendance will result in any particular outcome. We also cannot guarantee 100% accuracy and infallibility for all time. Your use of the information is up to you.

All information is provided as is, for informational and entertainment purposes only, without warranty. Any attendee should do their own due diligence before acting on any recommendations. Do not make any financial or personal commitment without, at minimum, doing your own research into the information received from a bibliotta! staff member or guest speaker.

You may not rebrand or repurpose any materials for resale. All content is the Intellectual Property of its creators, including guest speakers’ own materials, which is used for webinars with their agreement.

You may use limited and reasonable screencaptures of webinars for purposes of social media or personal website posting, but only with the permission of all attending people. Please secure permission before taking any images of others’ faces or work.

Acceptable behaviour at events

All attendees are required to comport themselves with courtesy towards the speakers, bibliotta! staff, other attendees, and in any subsequent interactions such as email contact. Anyone who acts in a belligerent, consistently and deliberately disruptive, harassing, racist, or otherwise bigoted, sexist or overly-sexualised, transphobic or homophobic way will be excluded from participation in bibliotta! events and communications. All such decisions are at the discretion of bibliotta! staff and may be expanded to include other unacceptable behaviour at any time.

Any attendee who wishes to make a complaint about another attendee’s behaviour may do so at any time in confidence by using our contact us page. We expect this to be a rare event, however we wish to provide a safe space for all.

The Zoom chat function may not be used to send unsolicited messages to other participants and anyone found abusing this function, or harassing attendees or speakers in any way will be banned from this and future events.

Attendees may obfuscate their personal information such as real names by going to Zoom settings and changing this to an anonymous identity, such as “Unicorn1” or anything that makes them feel safe. Names may not be changed to terms of abuse, or this will also result in a ban.

An attendee may not use the event as a method of finding out or disseminating others’ personal information or engaging in stalkerish behaviour. This includes legal name, address, deadnaming, gender or orientation, social media account information and so on. Administrator discretion will be used and permanent bans may result in intentional abuse of the event.

Event cancellations & interruptions

Cancellations to ticket purchases will be accepted until two hours before event start time, after which time limit no refunds will be issued. Cancellations may incur a loss of PayPal transactional fees.

Rescheduling may also be accepted, if it is arranged before the two hour period. This will incur no extra charges or loss of PayPal transactional fees, the seat ticket will effectively be transferred to the new scheduled event time.

If an event is interrupted through disruptive events, all efforts will be made to ensure the time of service interruption can be made up if reasonably possible.

Event refunds

No refunds are provided on the basis of attendees’ internet connection outage. In the event that bibliotta! internet outage has significantly impacted event delivery, a refund or reschedule may be supplied at bibliotta!’s discretion.

No refunds may be offered on the grounds of attendees’ disatisfaction with the content provided. All content is provided “as is” with no implicit warranty or guarantee. All content is offered with good faith, and with “best efforts” to provide an enjoyable and informative event. No refunds will be offered due to the behaviour of other attendees.

Attendees flouting terms and services, particularly in regards harrassing or disruptive behaviour will be excluded from the session at discretion of bibliotta! and may be banned from future participation. Attendees excluded from services due to breach of Acceptable Behaviour (above) will receive no refunds.

Your purchase of a ticket or reservation of a webinar place constitutes agreement with the above terms and conditions.

Editing / Feedback services:

Please see the detail page of each product, however the following terms will also apply:

  • No warranty or guarantee of any results are implied.
  • You understand that all feedback given is merely an opinion, for education or entertainment purposes, and any actions taken as a result of receiving feedback are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Generative AI stories are not accepted, e.g. a story created by typing prompts into ChatGPT or similar.
  • Stories that glorify problematic themes such as racism, sexism, transphobia will be refused.
  • Any material sent despite these terms will not receive a refund, as reading time will have been expended and distress may have been caused.

Purchase of services and or subsequent engagement in the processes of feedback implies acceptance of these terms.
