Perhaps you’ve got a WordPress website in need of an update. Perhaps you’ve heard about this WordPress Theme Editor. It’s supposed to be powerful but how do you use it? Maybe the “Gutenberg” editor (aka blocks) trips you up every time? Well, no worries, I’m here to help.

I will take you on a guided tour of the WordPress Theme Editor with real talk about its current quirks and issues. I will show you a few supporting slides but most of this will be a functional demonstration that you can watch, and if you’re good at multi-tasking and multi-screening, you can play along on your own website!

This course is for you, if you:

• Want to update your current WordPress site’s look and feel without doing a bunch of coding, BUT
• Can’t seem to make this “Edit Site” or “Theme Editor” thing happen, or
• Can see it but can’t understand how it all fits together
• Can’t find things now Customiser is gone
• Have issues with how blocks work…
• Just put it back to your old theme because you got too frustrated!

This course is NOT for you if:

• You have never had a WordPress website or any website at all, OR
• You’re completely comfortable with WordPress’ block editor, themes, and other design elements and don’t find it confusing
