Getting a handle on your website look and feel

If you’ve ever struggled with WordPress’s theme editor, or haven’t even tried to edit your site’s look and feel with this tool, this session will help!

Don’t get frustrated with the block editor and styles settings, get in control.

This session will be full of practical demonstrations and I’ll answer your questions.

I’ll show you the hidden settings that make your life a billion times easier, and make sure you can see how to make your themes work on mobiles, too!

Things you should bring: if you have a website that runs WordPress, or a WordPress.com account, you can have that open on your computer while we go through and play along.

This session is ideal for:

• People with WordPress who want help with using themes and the theme editor.
• People who’ve struggled with the block (aka Gutenberg) editor
• People who have a WordPress site but hate how it looks!

This session is not for:

• People who don’t have a website yet or know much about them – check out the “Your Writer Website” series for more fundamental info instead.

Note: This is the first time I’m running this workshop so we may overrun a little. Please leave yourself plenty of time to get the best out of this.
